Blaichach camp was an old cotton mill and subsequent BMW plant that was used to produce aircraft parts from 1944 to 1945. 800 prisoners worked there and the whole complex was surrounded by a fence and guard towers. The prisoners sleeping quarters were on the first and third floors of the factory with the guards being accommodated in the cellar. Behind the building there was an open square for roll-call..
