Singing shanties properly requires a little effort, which is why we have a musical director, but it's great fun and really rewarding and you don't necessarily need to have a perfect singing voice in order to be able to do it. If you'd like to join us, and don't mind the thought of singing in public to an audience at gigs, we'd really like to hear from you. We say again, don't worry too much about your voice at this stage - it's enthusiasm and willingness to follow the harmonies that we're looking for.
